Sassafras is your neighborhood cottage bakery. We have put in time and research into holistic items focusing on what’s important: you! Our items are made without artificial ingredients and dyes, free from aluminum baking, and minimal plastic packaging when possible.

Extensive research has shown the faults of microplastics and aluminum in the everyday kitchen. Our items are baked with stoneware, glass, and cast iron- our utensils include wood and silicone.

Over time, we have expanded to include everyday household staples. We aim to provide high quality, all-natural products to everyone- especially those who may be facing economic hardship.

We are rooted in community and committed to fostering that sense of togetherness. During the holidays, we invite sponsors and donations to help us provide meals and goods to families who might otherwise go without.
